An elite international law firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Associate to join its renowned Projects & Energy team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with over seven years of post-qualification experience, aiming to engage in high-calibre, cross-border projects across the Middle East and beyond.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will become an integral part of a globally recognised practice, advising on the development and financing of complex energy and infrastructure projects. The role encompasses a broad spectrum of work, including:

Energy Transition & Renewables: Advising on groundbreaking projects in renewable energy, including solar, wind, and hydrogen initiatives.

Petrochemicals & Infrastructure: Providing legal counsel on large-scale petrochemical and infrastructure developments, ensuring compliance with international standards.

Project Financing: Structuring and negotiating financing arrangements for major projects, collaborating with sponsors, lenders, and governmental entities.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multifaceted transactions from inception to completion.

Draft and negotiate a variety of project documents, including EPC contracts, offtake agreements, and financing documents.

Collaborate with cross-border teams to deliver seamless legal solutions.

Mentor junior associates and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
Candidate Profile:

Qualified solicitor with 7+ years of post-qualification experience in project development and finance.

Demonstrated expertise in energy and infrastructure projects, particularly within the Middle East context.

Strong academic background and training from a reputable law firm.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
