An exciting opportunity to join a world class global law firm in Melbourne. We are seeking a dynamic, proactive Senior Legal Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming team of experienced secretaries. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to multiple fee earners in the Intellectual Property & Technology practice groups.
We would like to hear from you if you are confident self starter who has the ability to anticipate and apply an efficient approach to all tasks with exceptional attention to detail.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Proactive diary management
- Facilitating all travel arrangements
- Financials – including external/internal billing and reporting, and third party invoicing
- Reporting (Excel)
- Internal and external client client liaison
- Maintaining records and client databases
- Opening, closing and archiving new client matter files
- Word processing, document preparation and drafting correspondence
- Mentoring of junior legal assistant staff
- Filing, photocopying and other ad-hoc administration tasks.

The Requirements
Are you a team player who enjoys collaborating with peers in delivering an exceptional service, with a a minimum of 4 years experience working within either a law firm or professional services environment.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), demonstrate an eye for detail and approach your tasks with enthusiasm and pride
- Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, and relish the opportunity to exercise your proven time management and organisational skills to deliver excellent client service
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Suite.
