One of Australia's leading law firms is seeking a bright, organised and efficient individual to join their talent acquisition team in the position of Recruitment Co-Ordinator.
This role is based in Sydney, however, sits within a team that is based nationally around Australia, providing you the opportunity to collaborate on recruitment projects locally and interstate. The hours of this role are 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Drawing on your excellent communication skills developed in a previous recruitment or administration role, your daily tasks with include:
- Use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) when liaising with candidates who have applied to vacancies directly via the firm's website
- Maintaining relationships with the firm's selected recruitment agencies
- Liaising with internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process in order to arrange interview times, communicate feedback and initiate the offer process
- Diary management
- Ad hoc administration tasks as requested by the Recruitment Advisor or Manager.
The Requirements
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications that individuals need to meet to perform their role:
- Previous experience working in a legal and/or professional services environment, ideally within a recruitment, talent acquisition or administration-focused role;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style as necessary depending on the audience;
- Demonstrated experience liaising with a wide variety of internal stakeholders;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Experience of managing or consulting with multiple calendars to arrange appointments;
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System would be advantageous, but not essential.
