We are representing a leading international firm as they search for an experienced Conveyancing Clerk to join their Melbourne CBD office on a 3-month temp basis.
This role would best suit someone familiar with Victorian developments and commercial conveyancing, as either a Paralegal or admitted practitioner.
In this position your day to day tasks would include:
- Managing your own files from start to finish, liaising with commercial clients across Victoria;
- Preparing documentation, third party liaison and due diligence in adherence to settlement and matter deadlines;
- Maintaining matter information and preparing documents utilising in-house legal software and uploading relevant documents to PEXA;
- Collaborating with the wider Conveyancing, PA and lawyer team where needed to delegate work and to take on cross-practice matters;
- Attending to monthly billing and your own inbox management.

The Requirements:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Previous experience of circa 5+ years, admitted or as a Paralegal, in commercial conveyancing and developments, ideally within Victoria;
- Locally based in Melbourne and available to work in the office between 3 and 5 days per week;
- Available immediately for a three-month+ period, with full and unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
