The Opportunity
We are assisting a highly regarded national law firm with their search for an experienced CTP / Public Liability Legal Secretary. This role represents the opportunity for many to work closer to home, in Parramatta's CBD, in a rare 1:1 support role within a close-knit team.
You, the successful applicant, will join a team that values you and operates in a collaboratively and has a bit of fun along the way. The firm provides an excellent benefits scheme which include gym memberships, supplemented insurance, and health & wellness initiatives.
In this role you will oversee all matter administration for CTP, Work Injury, and Public Liability files from initial client enquiries to time recording and billing. You day to day tasks will include creating TPCs and cost agreements, opening, maintaining, and closing files, coordinating appointments, liaising with clients and insurers, drafting correspondence, and preparing Court documents. You will regularly liaise with clients to ensure they understand the process of their matter.
The Requirements
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Previous experience of working in public liability and CTP within a legal services organisation;
- Possess strong relationship management skills and professional empathy;
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and previous exposure to legal file management and billing systems;
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality with a dedicated approach and strong work ethic.
