The Role
As a Legal Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Matter management – opening and closing matters, conducting conflict searches.
- Court document preparation – assisting with drafting, online filing, and submissions.
- Billing and reporting – managing time entries, third-party invoice processing, and monthly billing.
- Document preparation – drafting letters, contracts, and general correspondence.
- General administrative support – document management and ad hoc administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a law firm environment, ideally within litigation and class actions.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Familiarity with legal systems and software (FileSite and Expert experience preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
