An exciting position has opened up for a high-performing, administration-focused Legal Assistant to join the Secretarial Team in the Melbourne office, supporting the Litigation & Regulatory practice groups. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with a supportive team and provide a range of administrative support to multiple fee earners within the practice group.

About you:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a law firm or professional services environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with a keen eye for detail, and an enthusiastic, prideful approach to your work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, using proven time management and organizational skills to deliver excellent client service
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Suite, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to work effectively in a high-demand administrative role
- Word processing, document preparation, and drafting correspondence
- Proficient in Excel
- Understanding of billing and expense claims functions
- Ability to manage competing demands
- Both paper and electronic filing
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Liaising with internal and external clients as required
- Entering client details into a contacts database
- Creating new client matter files, closing, and archiving client matter files
- General administrative tasks including filing, printing, scanning, and photocopying
