The firm is seeking a Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer for an initial 6 month contract with a chance for extension.
The team is ranked as one of the top Construction practices in the city and described as engaged, approachable, and commercially-led. Consisting of 2 Partners and their team of 8, this is a great opportunity to make your mark in a small yet prolific practice.
The successful applicant will advise clients from the inception of a development project through to its conclusion. Many of the development schemes are complex and of a high value ranging from town centre regeneration, commercial, retail, sports, student accommodation, hotels, infrastructure, residential and mixed-use developments. Clients include developers, occupiers, high net worth individuals, funds and other institutional investors.
The successful applicant will be picking up a full non-contentious construction caseload and would be required to work without, or with minimal, supervision.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients in relation to letters of intent;
- Pre-construction services agreements;
- JCT, RIBA, NEC, bonds, guarantees and other construction security documents Development agreements for lease.
