Our client, a leader in property development, is searching for an experienced Legal Assistant to support their department of General Counsel.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage complex legal projects and provide executive support to the legal team.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Spearhead Legal Services workflows and follow-up actions;
- Administer registrations, document executions, and files on various software platforms;
- Coordinate multiple diaries, arrange travel and business appointments;
- Coordinate with the wider business on shared projects and meetings.
- Create presentations, reports, contracts, and correspondence;
- Act as first contact to internal and external stakeholders to answer or field enquiries;
- Maintain registries and uphold client relationships;
- Manage team meetings, agendas, and minutes.
This is a full-time position based in the CBD with flexibility to work from home two or three days per week following a settling-in period.

The Requirements:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role within a legal team, either in-house or private practice;
- Advanced computer proficiency on platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and cloud based software;
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with high level stakeholders;
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple and conflicting priorities;
- Superior professionalism with the ability to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive matters.
