We're representing one of Australia's leading law firms as they search for a Conveyancing Assistant to partner with sector specialists in the highly regarded Real Estate team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support to Licenced Conveyancers and Lawyers within the team. Matters can vary but generally consist of large-scale off the plan developments for market leaders and multi-national companies.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and populating legal documents to a high degree of accuracy;
- Liaising with colleagues, agents, clients and third parties in person, via telephone and email;
- Updating and maintaining matter files and utilising PEXA as well as other programs for information management and legal filing;
- Utilising Excel for tracking, reporting and information management;
- Attending to trust accounting and monthly billing administration.
This is a full time position with core hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday and overtime within peak periods. A flexible working policy is in place which will support remote working one to two days per week, depending upon meeting schedules.

The Requirements:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Previous (1-4 years) relevant experience of working in a legal support role within a high volume Property law practice on off-plan Conveyancing;
- A high level of attention to detail, a strong proficiency on Excel and PEXA with previous experience working with trust monies;
- An engaged work ethic and an investment in building relationships with colleagues and with multiple stakeholders;
