The Opportunity:

We're assisting a leading global law firm, headquartered in the UK, with their search for a Construction Lawyer for the London office.

The firm's Real Estate Division is highly ranked and one of the largest in the UK, consisting of Construction, Engineering, and Environment.  

The Construction team is seeking an experienced Non-Contentious Construction expert to join a varied practice including advising on domestic developments, major office, retail, health, and student accommodation as well as engineering, renewal energy and industrial projects.  

The team works closely with international counterparts, particularly GCC and Singapore.

You can expect to advise on procurement strategies, the preparation and negotiation of standard form and bespoke construction and engineering contracts, sub-contracts, supply agreements, professional appointments, guarantees, bonds and other ancillary construction documents.

The Requirements:

Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
  • A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in transactional construction law gained within a large or mid-tier firm;
  • Excellent academic achievement;
  • The ability to actively support complex transactions, liaising and coordinating with fee earners from other relevant disciplines as needed;
  • The ability to contribute to training, precedents, or know-how;
  • A proven record of a high standard of client care for existing clients at the highest level.
